This Friday we’ll be making our yearly trek to pickup bees to replace our hives that have not survived the winter. Once we come back my 2 sons and I will ” Hive ” them. Hiving bees is when you provide a hive for bees pretty simple you would think? Well….. When you buy bees they come in a box about twice the size of a show box, the box includes 3 lbs of honey bees approximately 10,000 bees and a queen. Getting them into the box it the tricky part.
